The Laboratory for Lung Development and Regeneration was established in October 2012 at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (CDB) in Kobe, Japan. We are interested in understanding how tissue morphology influences the formation of stem cell niches in the development, repair, and regeneration of respiratory organs, as well as understanding what mechanisms regulate cell proliferation and differentiation in developmental and regenerative processes.
We welcome applications from interested prospective graduate students at any time. For Research Scientist (postdoctoral fellow) positions, please contact the team leader directly. Our laboratory can also host researchers funded by RIKEN’s Special Postdoctoral Researcher Program or Foreign Postdoctoral Research Program, and by JSPS’s Research Fellowship for Young Scientists. Non-Japanese researchers are also welcome to apply for the positions.
We are recruiting Research Scientists or Postdoctoral Researchers.
